Dawn Vanessa Ketter

Dawn Vanessa Ketter was born on July 13, 1960 in Denver, Colorado, and passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

For over 26 years, Dawn devoted herself to working at Cherry Hills Community Church, where her kindness, warm spirit, and radiant smile touched the lives of everyone she met.

Dawn loved Jesus and her family deeply. The joy of her life was being a Nana to her grandchildren. Dawn enjoyed the simple things like reading books, camping, watching hummingbirds, and taking long walks.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce Ketter; her sons, Robert and his wife Jenifer and Thomas and his wife Melissa, and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Gail Domenico and her brother Terry Ketelsen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irwin and Luella Ketelsen of South Dakota.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd at 1:00 pm in The Dixon Chapel at Cherry Hills Community Church.
