David Wayne Berg was born on March 8, 1957 in Anchorage, Alaska at Elmendorf Air Force to Ralph R. Berg and Eleanor May Erickson Berg.    Being a military family they moved to Colorado Springs, back to Anchorage, then to Denver and then Okinawa, Japan.   David graduated from high school in Okinawa in 1975.

Upon returning to Colorado after graduation David attended a junior college in Greeley and went to police academy and served a couple years as a policeman.  He then trained to be a real estate agent and worked very successfully in real estate for 20 years.

David married Marilyn Berg in 1978    Michael Berg was born December 4, 1981.  Their marriage ended in divorce and David married Ann Guthrie October 26, 1985.  David and Ann adopted Ryan James Berg at birth on September 21, 1990.  David lived in about seven different locations in Aurora and south Denver area during his adult life.  David and Ann were members of Parker Bible Church.

The past 10 years or so David’s physical and mental health declined and on January 20, 2023 Ann was with David when he breathed his last breath.

David was survived by his wife Ann Berg and two sons Michael and Ryan Berg, his mom Eleanor May Erickson Berg, his two brothers Don and Greg Berg and his sister Lois Owsley.

A Celebration of Life memorial will be held on Saturday February 18, 2023 at Parker Bible Church 10595 Newlin Gulch Blvd, Parker, CO 80134  from 10-12 noon.
