Obituary

Dale George Dascher was born September 5, 1939, in Eau Claire, WI. He lived a full and long life. He was an only child born to Doyle and Doris Dascher. While growing up he became an avid skier, winning competitions in ski jumping. Near the end of high school, he broke his leg and stuck with water skiing from that point on.

After high school, Dale joined the Army where he was stationed at Ft Bliss in El Paso, Texas. There he became an electronics instructor, teaching the new soldiers before they headed off to Vietnam. He took great pride in his time in the service. He was asked to join Officer’s Candidate School because of his electronics smarts. However, he declined because while in Texas, he met and married Connie Brunson.

Together they had Allen (1960), and then after his service they moved back to Wisconsin where they had Brian (1962) and Cheryl (1965). In 1966, they moved to Colorado for Dale’s work. He worked at Feroxcube, Fabritek, Statitrol and ended his career at Lockheed Martin as an aerospace engineer.

Dale always enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing. Later, it was a way he bonded with his kids. Brian and Cheryl continued hunting with him until they married their spouses. He spent all his adult life with regular schedules on the HAM radio with his many HAM buddies around the world. After 23 years of marriage he divorced and spent his time dedicated to his children and grandchildren. Allen and Shirley had two boys, Sean (m: Rachel) and stepson Justin in Virginia. Brian and Mikki had Brianna (M: Adam Deutsch) and Dakota of

Littleton, CO. Cheryl and Steve had stepson Derek and son Brunson (m: Michelle) of Highlands Ranch, CO.

He loved riding his Harley and often rode with all his children and grandson, Brunson. However, Dale’s biggest joy was attending the sports and activities of his grandchildren. He did his best to never miss any football games, basketball games, wrestling matches or piano recitals. He truly loved watching his grandchildren grow up. He was able to attend the wedding of Brunson and Michelle. And later, his face lit up every time he saw their son, his great grandson, Walker. He delighted in sharing a four generation…Dale, Cheryl, Brunson and Walker (both boys having his name’s sake as their middle names).

Dale passed on February 17, 2026, in his home in Littleton, CO. His remaining children by his side; held true to their promise allowing him to pass in his home of 59 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Doyle, and his middle child, Brian. Dale did not want a memorial service; he will be buried at Ft Logan Cemetery according to his wishes.
