Craig Lynn Fisher entered this life on March 30, 1955, and entered eternal life of October 6, 2026.
Born into a family of ten children, Craig was the seventh sibling in the family raised in Lakewood, Colorado. Throughout his life, he embodied values and hard work, devotion, and helping others. He was a loyal brother, devoted father, a proud grandfather, and a hardworking man with a lighthearted spirit who was always willing to lend a hand to a neighbor. If anyone needed help, Craig was the person you could count on to be there to assist. He had a way of bringing humor, generosity, and little extra excitement wherever he went.
Craig dedicated more than 20 years of his life to Pioneer Sand and Gravel as a local truck driver. He took pride in his work and in providing for his family. Though he accomplished much throughout his life, he would often say that his greatest accomplishment was his daughter, Jennifer. That simple statement said everything about the love he carried for his family and the pride he felt in being her dad.
Craig had a passion for staying active. He loved weightlifting and working out, motorcycles, car racing, and spending time outdoors. And when it came to football, there was no question where his loyalty belonged: The Denver Broncos. Through the victories, heartbreaks, and everything in between, he was a hardcore fan. He WAS the South Stands! It was a part of who he was.
Craig was also known for doing holidays in a big way and were never ordinary. His Fourth of July parties were always unforgettable, completed with a grand fireworks display. At Halloween, you could always find him dressed up and hiding in a corner of the driveway ready to scare the pants off a trick- or- treater. He took pride in having the scariest looking house on the block. And when Christmas arrived, Craig transformed the family home into a dazzling display with over 15,000 lights. His enthusiasm, creativity, and love for making the holidays special created traditions and memories that will live on for years to come.
Above all, Craig loved his family. He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Jennifer Stoverink, Son-in-Law Tim, cherished granddaughters, Stella 7 and Aria 4, brother Brian (Poke) Fisher, and two sisters, Leta Dahlberg and Debra Fisher. Craig was proceeded in death by his mother, Elva M. Fisher, his wife, Vicky Fisher, and six other siblings.
May Craig rest in peace and find eternal joy in the loving embrace of God. May those who loved him find comfort in knowing that the life he lived and the love he gave will never be forgotten.
Craig will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. A memorial luncheon will follow. In his honor, guests are welcome to wear orange and blue, or Denver Broncos, colors that held special meaning for Craig. In lieu of flowers you may kindly make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research through the Bright Focus foundation in his name.
