Charles "Skeeter" Tiedeman

An absolutely amazing man, Skeeter, passed away on January 20, 2023 at 66 years young.  Cancer took his life but did not touch his soul.

Skeeter was a great, loving father to three awesome children; and the most amazing husband for 48 years.  His family was his pride and joy. He loved them hard. After raising their family, he and his wife retired to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to fulfill their retirement dream.

Skeeter called Fort Collins Colorado home for 60 years. Skeeter was very involved and selfless in the Fort Collins Community. As a singer and songwriter he played in two wonderful bands, "Ashwood Creed" and "The Colorado Crossroads Band".  Entertaining and bringing joy to people while touring all across Colorado and Wyoming. He developed many great friends and relationships that he always cherished.

Much of Skeeter's time was spent coaching youth sports, a great passion of his, especially youth baseball.  He touched so many young lives and taught the importance of heart, hustle and effort - life lessons. Making a positive impact in these young lives was important to him.

He is survived by his wife Georgie; children: Gary Tiedeman,  Amanda Tiedeman,  Ray Tiedeman (Mila); grandchildren: Amberly Speck (Sam); Brandhan Tiedeman, R.J. Mast, Dillhan Tiedeman. As well as many family members, special family members, and friends.

Skeeter was bigger than life, so good, with phenomenal compassion, and such integrity; the world is now clearly out of balance.

Your family loves and misses you so very much.

"You're the one that makes my day brighter
You're the one that makes the load seem lighter
You're the one that loves me in the night
You're the one that makes it right"
                                                             --Skeeter Tiedeman
