Chad Zweifel

March 28, 1978 — July 17, 2022

Denver

Dashing. Handsome. Sharp dresser. Confident. Capable. Determined. Hard working.

He left us way too soon and family and friends have lost a true gem, one they will always remember, will always miss, and never be able to replace.

Chad worked in the video production business, and worked closely with stars and celebrities and their agents, on marketing videos, and TV shows. Since social causes were always high on his list, he was very proud of his work on movies and documentaries such as the movie “Last Requests”, for which he received a Production Manager credit, the documentary “Touch of Sugar”, where he worked with Viola Davis, and a documentary about Delaney Tarr, a Parkland survivor. He was on the red carpet frequently with the likes of Madonna, Harrison Ford, Susan Sarandon, Lucy Liu, Neal Patrick Harris, Clinton Kelly, and many more. Madonna was his favorite as he was always her biggest fan. He worked 10 years in The Big Apple and resumed his career as a freelance production manager when he returned to Denver.

He returned to Denver to realize a long-held ambition, to own his own property, and he worked until he accomplished it. It required lots of sweat, fixing, cleaning, repairing, painting, but it was a labor of love, and he was a hard worker. His last big project was restoring a yard with nothing but weeds and making it a clover patch, and spent many days planting and hand- watering clover.

His friends remember him as being faithful and fiercely loyal to them. They remember him as being lots of fun to be with, as he was witty, sometimes sarcastically so, had a smile that could light up a room, and a personality to keep it lit up. And, when the occasion arose, he was a great dancer.

Chad was born in Oklahoma City on March 28,1978. He was a “military brat” and had to tolerate lots of military moves, to Alaska, Colorado, Missouri, and back to Colorado. He graduated from Arapaho High School where he was a varsity swimmer and was on the cross country team. Chad graduated from the University of Colorado, and later, he earned a Masters degree from The New School in NYC.

Chad is survived by his parents, Fred and Janet Zweifel of Centennial, CO, and his sister, Jennifer, of Colorado Springs, CO, and his faithful dog, Guillermo.
