Catherine Ann Skulborstad

Catherine Ann (Miller) Skulborstad (79) passed away on January 22, 2024 in Castle Pines, CO.  

Cathy was born on March 27, 1944 in Salina, KS to Freda and Harry Miller.  After graduating from Salina High School, she trained as a key-punch operator and went to work for TWA in Kansas City. 

She met her husband, Gary Skulborstad, in 1962 in Salina and they were married on August 31, 1963. Cathy & Gary went on to have 2 daughters, Amy and Sarah. In 1972, they moved to Littleton, CO. Cathy worked for more than 20 years as a high school paraprofessional.

Cathy and Gary had a great appreciation for the Colorado mountains. They spent their entire married life camping in their free time. 

Cathy enjoyed collecting antiques and dedicated many hours to the study of genealogy during her retirement. 

In 2020, she moved to a senior apartment complex in Castle Pines to be near family; while there she made many good friends and developed a love of Bingo and other social events. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her two daughters, Amy (Sam) Ogden, Sarah (Dan) Ogden, four grandchildren, Sam III, Will, Sarah-Cate, and Aly, and her older brother, James.
