Carol Marie Schmitz

Nashville - Carol Schmitz, 55, of Hermitage, TN passed away Friday, May 20, 2022. Carol was born December 25, 1966 in St. Louis, MO, and raised in St. Louis and Boston, MA. She moved to Nashville twenty years ago and is preceded in death by parents Clarence (Bud) and Margaret Schmitz.

Carol enjoyed spending time with family when she could and is survived by her brothers John and Robert, sister Patricia, nieces Stefanie, Emily and Mayme, nephews Michael, Angus and Lauren, and her grand-nephews Asher and Aden.

Carol was dedicated to helping students at Vanderbilt University where she was employed as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager for Student Access. Prior to Vanderbilt, she had a long career in human resources at Goodwill Industries.
