Arthur Aaron Schwartz, born November 11, 1932, in Wilson, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, curiosity, and service.

Arthur was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Schwartz (née Noetzel); his parents, Rose Schwartz (née Krausz) and Aaron (Sandor) Schwartz; his brother, Emery Schwartz; sister-in-law Anita Schwartz; niece Jeri Lynne Lotsoff (née Schwartz); and sister-in-law Beverly Holt (née Noetzel).

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Michelle Schwartz, and son-in-law Geoffrey Bogie of Seeley Lake, Montana; his nieces, Marcy Gilbert and Roberta (Michael) Gorell; and his cousin, Irene Elkin.

Arthur proudly served his country as a medic during the Korean War, a role that reflected his lifelong commitment to helping others. Following his service, he dedicated his career to education, spending many years as a French teacher with the Chicago Public Schools, where he touched the lives of countless students.

A lifelong traveler, Arthur found great joy in exploring new places, learning about different cultures, and savoring the foods of the world. He approached life with curiosity, warmth, and an open heart.

Known for his quick wit, generous spirit, and enduring friendships, Arthur had a remarkable ability to stay connected with others, no matter the distance or the passage of time.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the meaningful relationships he cultivated throughout his life.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of a funeral service, the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
