In Loving Memory of Armando Roberto Jaramillo

Armando Roberto Jaramillo, 77, known as Robert or Bobby, of Medanales, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026. He was born on September 26, 1948, in Medanales, New Mexico, where his journey began among the people and traditions he cherished throughout his life.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1967 to 1971. Following his military service, he built a career as a skilled plumber, earning the respect of those who knew him through his strong work ethic, dedication, and willingness to help others.

In his spare time, Robert found simple joy in watching classic old movies. He appreciated the timeless stories and familiar faces of Hollywood’s golden era, often spending quiet evenings enjoying his favorite films, with his best friend Bennie. He was also an avid sports fan. He loved football and basketball, (pro or college). He enjoyed watching the games on tv, as well as reading about them in newspaper.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas Jaramillo, and Maria Trinidad Jaramillo; his brothers, Joe Jaramillo, and Jose Avelino “Billy” Jaramillo; and his sisters, Crucita Jaramillo, Celine Cleo Jaramillo, Arlene Amalia Jaramillo, Maria Odelia Minard, and Margarita Angelina Broten.

Robert is survived by his brothers, Ralph Amabilis Jaramillo, Jose Eugenio Jaramillo, and Pedro Andres Marcial Jaramillo; and his sisters, Maria de Los Angeles “Angel” Jaramillo, and Terisa Annette Jaramillo, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Robert will be remembered for his quiet strength, his years of faithful service to his country and community, and the lasting impact he made on those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all whose lives he touched.

May he rest in eternal peace.
