Annette Ellen Boyd

On Sunday, October 29th, Annette E Boyd went home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with her many family members. Annette was born in South Harbor, Mille Lacs County, Minnesota in 1940 to Amelia Eleander (Blackburn) and Arnold Francis Kuykendall. She was older sister to Alan (Joyce) Kuykendall and Arlene (Jim) Grosch. Annette and her family moved throughout the United States before settling in Rye, Colorado where she graduated from Rye High School in 1958. This is where she met and married James (Jim) Boyd. They had two children, Virginia Lee (Tom) Saulnier and Jamie Sue (Lou) Jacobs. They then moved to the Denver area, where Annette was a stay-at-home mother until 1964 when she began work at Mountain Bell where she had a wonderful 25+  year career, retiring in 1990. After retirement, Annette loved traveling in her RV, keeping her gardens beautiful, and working out. Annette was predeceased by her parents, sister Arlene, daughter Jamie, grandson Andrew and her good friend Errol.  Annette is survived by her very good friend Karen E Carey, her brother Alan Kuykendall, her daughter Virginia Lee (Tom), and 3 grandchildren Christina (Edward), Jason (Kara), and Cassandra (Bryan). She was also a great-grandmother to Autumn (Jose), Sierra (Zach), Connor, Jason, Leo, Emi, Sydney and Lucie and Great-great-grandmother to Brooklyn, Brock, and Dominic. Annette was a loving and fun friend, sister, mom, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, and she will be so missed.
