Died 02/28/2024 in Denver Colorado
 Alma passed in her sleep Wednesday February 28, 2024. She was 85.

She was a lover of Country music.
 Alma was a patient at Western Hills Nursing Home in Lakewood, Colorado
 She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Gilbert Martinez who passed May 23, 2020.

Alma has two living sisters:

Mary (Fortini) Baca of Denver and

Mary (Madeline, Nena Marquez) Cowpar of Vallejo California

One living brother Donald (David) Marquez of Los Angeles area California
 She has five children:
 Ernestine (Tina) Vigil,
 Jerry Martinez,
 Danny Martinez,
 Michael Martinez,
 Anthony (Delfie) Martinez,
 Thirteen grandchildren,
 23 great grandchildren and 
 Five great great grandchildren.
 There will be a wake in the spring to celebrate both Ernie and Alma Martinez's lives.
 Schedule to follow at a later time.
 She will be cremated and will join Ernie (husband)at his claim in Gilpin County Colorado this spring 

Ernie grew up as a child in Gilpin County
